RMA Special Vehicles Launches Mobile Vaccination Station

Bangkok, August 26th  2021. RMA Special Vehicles have developed a Mobile Vaccination Station that can transport vaccines with an on board vaccination facility.

The conversion is built on a 1-Ton  Pickup such as the Ford Ranger or Toyota Hilux. The vehicle is equipped with a heavy duty refrigeration system as fitted to the RSV Vaccine Truck. The  engine driven system  reaches  temperatures as low as -25°C.

A custom made racking system allows for the transport of up to 2,500 vials of vaccine. The cargo box is insulated with sandwich panel technology

Inside the cargo box, the custom made racking system allows for the transport of up to 2,500 vials of vaccine. Adjoining the racking storage and insulated from it is the patient area.  This area is accessed through rear double doors and built-in retractable steps. It is equipped with separate air-conditioning and interior lighting and the  spacious interior fits two foldable chairs, overhead and side storage cabinets and disposal bins.

RSV’s Mobile Vaccination Station is equipped with exterior attachment hooks on which to connect a tarpaulin awning.  This provides a wide shaded undercover waiting area and an extension to the vaccination facility.

“The Mobile Vaccination Station is a unique RMA Special Vehicles product that serves a dual purpose by delivering  vaccines to communities as well as  being  a mobile vaccination facility,” says Seb Robertson, General Manager RMA Special Vehicles Global Modification Sales. “At RMA Special Vehicles we continue to bring innovative specialized vehicles to the market such as our range of Negative Pressure Ambulances, the Mobile Clinic and the state of the art Mobile Stroke Unit.”

RSV’s Mobile Vaccine Station has been engineered to fit a range of 1-Ton Pickups, with full manufacturer’s warranty and parts and service support. RMA Special Vehicles can also equip these trucks with a suspension upgrade to allow for improved handling over treacherous terrain and to minimize vehicle downtime. The RSV Mobile Vaccination Station is covered by RMA Automotive’s one year manufacturer’s warranty.
