Laem Chabang, August 1st, 2021 – RMA Special Vehicles have delivered a customized  Aerial Platform Vehicle to New Caledonia. The customer is the country’s Electricity Utility who will be deploying it immediately in this mountainous island nation.

The RSV Aerial Platform equipment is produced by Socage, a global leader in the manufacture of aerial platforms. “This is the first order of RMA Special Vehicle’s New Aerial Platform from the Electricity Utility of New Caledonia,” explains RMA Group’s Ratchaphon Sirayobhas (Lek), Asia Pacific Regional Fleet Manager.

“We had to make sure that the vehicle matched each and every of the customer’s requirements including European certifications, working height, weight limitation and homologation requirements.”

The RSV Aerial Platform is equipped with safety features such as a buzzer when the basket is moving and an emergency hand pump should the engine fail. It uses a highly efficient differential filtering hydraulic system, with high-efficiency filters in the supply and return lines. It fitted with a cross control movement limiting device and heat protection device for the electric system.
