Modern diesel engines don’t run well on bad fuel, sometimes even breaking down. Contaminants, heat values, cetane number or viscosity all interfere with the fuel delivery and control system. A JP8 conversion needs to counter this, without sacrificing vehicle performance and utility in the field of operation. RMA Automotive has completed over 50 000 JP8 diesel engine conversions and fuel adaptation. Some of them are probably at work right now.
