The MSU-SOS is outfitted with the latest medical technology to ensure the best possible care for stroke patients. The onboard CT scanner allows us to perform brain imaging on-site, critical for determining the type of stroke and the appropriate treatment.

With Emergency Stroke Consultation, our onboard team can consult with leading neurologists in real time, ensuring that each patient receives expert care without delay.

Bus Body

All of the structural and welding designs are validated according to NHTSA and ECE standards requirements.

CT Scan and Mounting

The CT scanner mounting design is a common structure for various CT scanner models, and it is analyzed to determine its strength according to ECE standard requirements.

Hydraulic Stretcher Loading System

The system was designed to integrate patient transport and loading system, including height adjustment to match with CT scanner protocol.

Air Suspension

This feature is to support the vehicle height adjustment. It lowers the vehicle to facilitate patient loading and offloading.

360 Camera & Interior CCTV System

A utility integration system that enhances driving performance and records data in both the driver and passenger compartments while in operation.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System:

TPMS continually monitors tire inflation pressure and informs the driver when it goes below a specified threshold. Tire performance qualities are improved, while tire life is increased.

Retractable Electric Rear Step

Made of aluminum which is light and offers good corrosion resistance, the electric step also has an automatic stop and retract function when the rear door is closed.

Interior Fit-Out and Floor Package

Interior layout design according to specific ergonomic requirements with medical-grade interior fittings, anti-bacterial and anti-slip floors.

Lead Panel and Glass Protection

Medical bay compartment panels are fitted with the lead sheet and glass to protect against rediation form the CT scan operation and also tested by Regional Medical Sciences (Center 6 Chonburi)

Radiation Safety and Protection

Patient compartment panels are fitted with lead sheets and glasses to protect against radiation from the CT scan operation and also tested by Regional Medical Sciences.

Interior and Exterior Lighting

Specific high-intensity Interior lighting (1650 lux) with front/rear light bars and surrounding emergency lights according to ambulance standard compliance

Electrical Power and Control System Management

High electric power consumption Hybrid Inverter (220V/8kW) with lithium batteries to support the CT scanner and all medical equipment. Touch screen monitor to activate and monitor the electrical part status and functions.

Communication System

System designed and set up for doctors in the hospital to interface with patients in the medical-bay.

HYBRID AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

Designed for use in tough terrain and crumbling infrastructure, this van ambulance is built on a converted 4X4 base vehicle to create the ultimate go-anywhere ambulance. It features customizable design that accommodates medical equipment and provides for attending personnel and a patient area. This van wraps up affordability, durability and reliability in a vehicle that stops at nothing to deliver life-saving medical care.

RMA Special Vehicles convert a regular two-wheel drive van into a highly capable off-road vehicle, with a raised body, all-terrain tyres and an extremely capable 4×4 drivetrain. The ambulance interior is then fitted out according to European specifications and deployed to customers worldwide.

Our 4×4 Off-road Ambulance is kitted out with a main stretcher and ramp, foldable rear step, flip-up attendant seat and a bench seat for four. Interiors are customisable, but in previous projects, a fleet of RMA Special Vehicles 4X4 ambulances currently in service with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Health was fitted with medical cabinets and a wash basin with a 10L water tank. Hygienic and easy-to-wipe aluminum interior panels provide noise & heat insulation for greater occupant comfort. The patient area has an anti-bacterial, anti-slip floor.

WHEN LIVES DEPEND ON RELIABILITY

The RMA Special Vehicles Life Support Ambulance Van has a high roof with wide opening rear swing doors and a side sliding door to provide ease of access.

The patient area has smooth hygienic interior surfaces made of aluminium panels. These come with excellent noise & heat reduction qualities. The flooring has anti-bacterial, anti-slip surfaces. There is ample LED interior lighting, an exterior work light, numerous power outlets  and individually controlled air-conditioning. 

Exterior lighting incudes a full width roof mounted emergency light bar, a rear beacon light and side emergency lights.The stretcher fits securely to one side of the patient area and is flanked by an attendant bench for three passengers. Up to three flip up attendant’s chairs can also be fitted (depending on customer requirements).

The interior is equipped with multiple storage cabinets, overhead hooks for IV drips, a blood pressure unit and an oxygen therapy system.

RMA Special Vehicles Life Support Ambulances are built on a Van body such as the Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Toyota Hi-Ace.

Customers can choose from a variety of additional fitments such as a wash basin with water tanks, sliding IV hangers, spine board, extrication collar and head immobilizer.

A LIFELINE ON WHEELS

The modified life support ambulance uses the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as its base. Customizable to client requirements, it delivers everything health care providers require: space, durability and reliability. Equipped with an oxygen tank, stretcher and attendant seating, it also features an external defibrillator (AED) with a lifeline ECG monitor to deliver critical patient support while in-transit to a medical facility.

The Prisoner Escort Truck is specially designed to transport prisoners in custody. Our Prisoner Escort vehicles feature cellular vehicle design and spec that prevent prisoners escaping, getting injured, harming other prisoners or committing acts of self-harm whilst in transit.

Protected with lightweight anti-cut armoured panels to keep vehicle weight down, the truck features bullet-proof windows and high-strength integrated armour. It also offers a secure separate cabin for escort staff, finger scanners, infrared cameras, loopholes, and high-security locks conforming to the highest security standards. Windows are protected with steel bars and wire mesh and fitted with bulletproof glass.

ARMOURED FOR ACTION

The Capybara SWAT vehicle is a purpose-built armored rescue vehicle designed for police tactical units and private security companies. It can be configured on most OEM base vehicles. Standard features include interlocking doors, roof hatch, visual reverse system, siren, PA system, run-flat tyres and a digital video recording system with up to 12 cameras.

The B2-B6 steel armored rear compartment seats eight SWAT personnel on foldable seats and is fitted with racking and a roof hatch.

EQUIPPED FOR EVIDENCE

The RMA Special Vehicles Crime Scene Investigation Vehicle is a specialist mobile forensic laboratory. Designed for deployment to the scene of a crime, it assists forensic detectives in performing their duties by providing a laboratory on wheels, complete with storage and laboratory equipment.

Self-sufficient, with independent air-conditioning and heating, a built-in generator, interior and exterior electric sockets and work lights, the interior LED lighting has variable color options and a control panel from which to manage all electrical systems.

The vehicle provides a secure facility where evidence can be bagged, tagged and stored, eliminating the cumbersome and, in many cases, detrimental process of transporting evidence to an off-site laboratory. It provides for any number of specialized forensic equipment such as evidence and sample bags, jars, seals and labels, tents, screens, crime scene markers and tape, PPE equipment, crime scene tools, search equipment, DNA and drug testing equipment, body bags, laboratory equipment as well as cleaning equipment, chemicals and disinfectants. The vehicle provides secure loading and fastening for all items and equipment to be safely stored and transported.

Non-marking interior surfaces provide a smooth finish and the non-slip floors are  hygienic and easy to clean. Fitted with abundant shelving, soft-closing lockable drawers, storage benches and work tables, the van also has a medical fridge and built-in sink with hot and cold water.
