Engineered for adventure, comfort, and off-road performance. Whether navigating remote trails or challenging terrain, the new Ford Transit 4×4 Conversion AT10 by RMA Special Vehicles is available in EU VI for European markets. It is built to carry any load with confidence on any road.

The new Ford Transit 4×4 AT10 conversion receives a unique tuned suspension to meet comfortable on and superior off-road performance. The electronic controlled transfer case supports shift on the fly to 4×4 high and a reduction gear of 2.71. Optional rear and/or front electric controlled differential locks enhance the off road capability further.

This 4×4 Conversion can be fitted out as field ambulances, personnel carriers, maintenance trucks, fire combat vehicles, patrol and rescue vehicles with a wide range of applications.

Unique Tuned Suspension System

A specific suspension design and tuning have been developed to maintain vehicle dynamics in a raised configuration. This setup ensures stable on-road performance while also providing the necessary grip for off-road conditions. To support on-road handling, the front sway bar is retained. At the rear, a helper bump stop has been added to offer the required dynamic support, while still allowing sufficient axle articulation for off-road use.

Strong Engine Cradle

A uniquely engineered front engine cradle developed by RMA Special Vehicles redefines the vehicle’s front structure, delivering the strength and durability of a chassis-on-frame design. Paired with a precision lower control arm featuring adjustable camber, it ensures enhanced off-road capability and refined handling for any challenging terrains.

Urea Tank

A new designed UREA tank makes space for the transfer case but maintains the original volume and control system layout so that the function and performance is identical with the base vehicle.

RMA Special Vehicles offers two variants of the 4×4 conversion package a High-raised for the off road enthusiasts and industrial for commercial use.

In addition to the raised body the track is increased for further enhanced controllability and stability.

Both versions have been developed for two models: 350L and 410L LHD with additional dual wheel variants planned for 2026.

High-raised version

 The vehicle’s ride height is 100mm higher than the base, resulting from upgraded suspension, wheels, and tires. This version is designed and developed for off-road conditions.

Industrial Version

 The ride height is increased by 40mm compared to the base vehicle. This version is recommended for mining vehicles, ambulances, and other applications where a lower height is preferred for convenience.

For convenience and control, RMA Special Vehicles has seamlessly integrated the drive mode selector within the cabin, allowing the driver to effortlessly switch from 2H to 4H at speeds below 120 km/h. Should you exceed this threshold while in 4H, the system intuitively transitions back to 2H, ensuring optimal performance and safety—without any need for driver intervention. It’s intelligent engineering designed to deliver confidence and comfort at every turn.

The RMA Special Vehicles Ford Transit 4×4 AT10 is available for either a complete built-up (CBU) vehicle or in component kits. This approach offers maximum flexibility in delivery and allows for localization to various markets.
