Laem Chabang, August 1st, 2021 – RMA Special Vehicles have delivered a customized Aerial Platform Vehicle to New Caledonia. The customer is the country’s Electricity Utility who will be deploying it immediately in this mountainous island nation.
The RSV Aerial Platform equipment is produced by Socage, a global leader in the manufacture of aerial platforms. The RSV Aerial Platform is equipped with safety features such as a buzzer when the basket is moving and an emergency hand pump should the engine fail. It uses a highly efficient differential filtering hydraulic system, with high-efficiency filters in the supply and return lines. It fitted with a cross control movement limiting device and heat protection device for the electric system.
The RSV Aerial Platform modification is done at RMA Automotive’s Assembly and Distribution Center, located in Laem Chabang, Thailand.
